Scope : To ensure implementation, monitoring, and compliance of infection prevention and control practices across the center, maintaining a safe environment for patients, caregivers, and staff.

• Develop and implement infection control policies and protocols as per healthcare standards
• Conduct regular infection surveillance (HAIs, wound infections, device-related infections, etc.)
• Monitor adherence to hand hygiene and PPE protocols
• Train and educate nursing staff, caregivers, and support staff on infection control practices
• Conduct infection control audits and share reports with management
• Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and biomedical waste management
• Investigate and manage infection outbreaks and take corrective actions
• Coordinate with Nursing Incharge and Clinical teams for patient safety measures
• Maintain infection control records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with NABH / regulatory guidelines (if applicable)
• Monitor antibiotic usage patterns in coordination with clinical team (if required)
• Drive initiatives to reduce hospital-acquired infections (HAIs)
